1. Surah Baqarah.

A great surah to read and the best surah for success is surah Al-Baqarah. And the most famous Aya to read is Ayat ul-Kursi.

“Allah! There is no god [worthy of worship] except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He [fully] knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills [to reveal]. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.” [al-Baqarah, 255]

The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said that: “whoever read ayat al Kursi, and the last three ayat of surah al-Baqarah, Allah will protect him and his wealth from devils.”

In verse number 26 in surah Imran Allah says:

قُلِ اللهم مٰلِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاۤءُۖ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ ۗ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۗ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ – ٢٦ تُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَتُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ – ٢٧

“Say (Muhammad), “O Lord of power, You give power to whomever you want, and you revoke power from whomever you want. You glorify whoever you want and humiliate whomever you want. In your hands are all virtues. Truly, You are the Almighty of all things. You put night into the day and You put day into the night. And you remove the living from the dead, and you remove the dead from the living. And you give sustenance to whomever you want without calculation.” (QS 3:26-27)

From this verse, we understand that Allah can give us everything that we need. Everything is in the hands of Allah. if we want success then we should ask for it, seek forgiveness, and please Allah.

3. Surah Al-Inshirah.

Surah Al-Inshirah is another one of the best surah in Quran for success.

Allah says in the holy Quran:

We also learn from it to be patient when going through hardships that seem impossible to overcome. We saw how Yaqoob remained patient and had faith in Allah that he would bring back his son Yusuf to him, even though he saw the shirt with blood stains on it and his sons told him that Yusuf is dead.

Allah said in the holy Quran:

“And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Jacob] said, “Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe.” (12:18)

When people told him that what his doing is wrong and that he was questioning Allah’s well he said to them that he is only talking to Allah and grieving.

Allah said in the holy Quran: “He said, ‘I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. O my sons, go and find out about Joseph and his brother and despair, not of relief from Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people.’”

When we face situations and problems that seem like we can’t get out of, we should always have faith in Allah like the prophet Yaqoob did. No matter how life seems hard Allah is always therefore us, we only need to have patience.

Prophet Yusuf himself went through a lot, his brothers left him in a well, a group of people found him and sold him, then he was imprisoned for something he didn’t do. But no matter what happened to him he didn’t lose his faith in Allah, instead, he kept praying and had faith that Allah would get him out of all of this and he was rewarded for that.

Allah said: “And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, ‘O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it a reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise.’”

When prophet Yusuf was in prison, he met two people whom he helped to understand the meaning of the dreams they are having. And he knew that one of them will get free so he asked for his help.

Allah said in the Holy Qur’an:

“And he said to the one whom he knew would go free, “Mention me before your master.” But Satan made him forget the mention [to] his master, and Joseph remained in prison several years.” (12:42)

Even though the man forgot him, he didn’t lose his faith in Allah. That is what we should all do, to put our faith in Allah and be patient, that is the secret to a happy life.

5. Surah Yaseen.
