Importance of reading Surah Al-Falaq for protection.
Surah Falaq was revealed to the prophet when he was ill due to black magic. Therefore, Allah revealed the surah to cure him.
Surah Falaq is one of the shortest surahs in the Quran. However, it is one of the most powerful surahs for protection against evil, black magic, and envy.
The name of the surah came from its first verse. The meaning of the word Falaq is “daybreak”. It is also referred to as Mu‘awwadhah (seeking refuge). It is the surah number 113 in the holy Quran, that was revealed to the prophet in Madinah.
“
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيم
In the name of Allah, the most compassionate, most merciful
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ﴿1﴾
Say, ‘I seek the protection of the Lord of the daybreak
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿2﴾
from the evil of what He has created,
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿3﴾
and from the evil of the dark night when it falls,
وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ﴿4﴾
and from the evil of the witches, who blow on knots,
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿5﴾
and from the evil of the envious one when he envies.
” (Surah Al-Falaq)
Uqbah bin Amir Al-Juhani رضnarrated that the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said:
“Allah has revealed to me Ayat the likes of which have not been seen:
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind…” until the end of the Surat.
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Al-Falaq…” until the end of the Surah.”
In the surah, Allah orders the prophet to seek refuge in him from any evil thing. To seek refuge from the evil eye, from creatures, and from witches who curse people by blowing on knots.
Some people don’t believe in black magic and witchcraft. But from this surah, we know they are real. And to seek refuge you should read surah Falaq for protection.
Benefits of reciting surah Falaq.
Reading surah Falaq protects us from:

Our beloved prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said:
“Whoever recites the two surahs of Falaq and Nas, it is as though he has recited all the scriptures of Divine prophets.”
One of the Imams said:
“Whoever recites the three surahs of Falaq, Nās, and Ikhlas in the Watr prayer of his night prayer. A caller will address him saying, ‘Good news for you that God has accepted your Watr prayer.”
One of the most beloved surahs to Allah is surah Falaq. The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said:
“The two surahs of Falaq and Nās are among the most cherished surahs of the Quran before God.”
One of the surahs to read to ask Allah for forgiveness is surah Falaq.
Our Prophet said:
“Whoever recites the three surahs of Ikhlas, Nās, and Falaq ten times every night, it is as though he has recited the whole Quran, his sins will be forgiven as though he has just been born, and his death will be martyrdom.”
Reading this surah protect us from sorcery and black magic.
It was narrated that “whoever recites surah Falaq, it will be a source of cure for him and safety from sorcery. In addition, it will be a mercy from God and a means for maintaining health.”
Reading surah Falaq heals the pain and cure from illness.
It was narrated that: “whenever the Noble Prophet felt pain in a part of his body, he would recite surahs Ikhlas, Falaq, and Nās to his right hand and then would stroke the part of his body that had pain.”
When having a Nightmare recite this surah.
One of the Imams said: “Whoever has disturbing dreams should recite surahs Falaq and Nās as well as Ayat al-Kursi”

Surah An-Nas for protection.
Surah Nas is one of the shortest surahs in the holy Quran. It is the surah number 114 and the final surah in the Quran.
Surah Al-Nas is one of the most powerful surahs for protection. Reading it keeps you safe from black magic, evil eye, and any harm. Here are the verses of surah Nas.
“
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ١
Say [O Prophet], “I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind,
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٢
the Master of humankind,
إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٣
the God of humankind,
مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ ٤
From the evil of the lurking whisperer,
ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٥
Who whispers into the hearts of humankind,

Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) narrated:
“Whenever Allah’s Messenger became sick, he would recite Mu’awwidhat (Surah Falaq and Surah Naas) and then blew His breath over His body. When he became seriously ill, I used to recite (these two Surahs) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its blessings.”
