Learn how quran can bring changes in our daily life

Following the instructions of the Quran and sunnah makes us live a perfect life.

Quran is what guides us and takes us out of our darkness and pain. When you read the Quran daily you will understand that life is nothing but a big test.

All we need to do to pass it is to put our faith in Allah and accept the outcomes even if it’s not what we wanted because Allah knows what is best for us.

You will only understand that when you read the Quran. The holy Quran shows us how to become a better person and no matter what happens to have patience and faith, to always stay kind to others and help the ones in need.

From the Quran, we learn that we should stop saying the word “I” and say “we”, because the word “i” indicates selfishness, and to be a good person you shouldn’t be selfish instead you should prefer others over yourself. But that doesn’t mean to hate yourself, love yourself, and do what makes you happy but don’t choose yourself over others.

“Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.” (Quran 4:36)

“Say, O Prophet, “Allah’s guidance is the only true guidance. And we are commanded to submit to the Lord of all worlds, establish prayer, and be mindful of Him. To Him, you will all be gathered together.” (Quran 6:71-72)

Having a good heart that is kind to others and doesn’t harm others is the key to success in this life and the afterlife.

We also learn that the word Ego will bring nothing but destruction, being arrogant will only close our eyes to the truth that is right in front of us.

The Quran teaches us that we are nothing without the help of Allah. And Allah is the one who gave us everything we have. So really, we have nothing to be arrogant about. And that is what we should keep telling ourselves.

“He replied, “I have been granted all this because of some knowledge I have.” Did he not know that Allah had already destroyed some from the generations before him who were far superior to him in power and greater in accumulating ˹wealth˺? There will be no need for the wicked to be asked about their sins.” (Quran 28:78)

Instead of hurting each other’s we should love one another, just like the Quran teach us.

“And one of His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find comfort in them. And He has placed between your compassion and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect.” (Quran 30:21)

Another thing that we should always do is smile, seeing someone smiling brings comfort and joy, and we will lose nothing if we smiled at each other.

“Moreover, He is the One Who brings about joy and sadness.” (Quran 53:43)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) said: “Do not abuse anyone, do not look down upon any good work, and when you speak to your brother, show him a cheerful face…”

The Quran also teaches us that we shouldn’t listen and believe the rumors, because if we do then we will be nothing different from the person who said it. Don’t believe everything you hear.

“O, believers! Avoid many suspicions, ˹for˺ indeed, some suspicions are sinful. And do not spy, nor backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of their dead brother? You would despise that! And fear Allah. Surely Allah is ˹the˺ Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful.” (Quan 49:12)

Also, the Quran tells us to seek success and do our best to achieve it.

“By men who are not distracted—either by buying or selling—from Allah’s remembrance, or performing prayer, or paying alms tax. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will tremble, ˹hoping˺ that Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and increase them out of His grace. And Allah provides for whoever He wills without limit.” (Quran 24:37-38)

The holy Quran showed us how jealousy and envy hurt the envious person more than it hurt others. No one has a perfect life and we don’t know what they lost in return. Instead of looking at what other people have look at the things you have and thank Allah for his kindness.

“And do not crave what Allah has given some of you over others. Men will be rewarded according to their deeds and women equally according to theirs. Rather, ask Allah for His bounties. Surely Allah has perfect knowledge of all things.” (Quran 4:32)

“Remember when they said to one another, “Surely Joseph and his brother Benjamin are more beloved to our father than we, even though we are a group of so many. Indeed, our father is clearly mistaken. Kill Joseph or cast him out to some distant land so that our father’s attention will be only ours, then after that, you may repent and become righteous people!” (Quran 12:8-9)

We also learn from the Holy Quran that we should acquire knowledge and seek it wherever it is, knowledge is power.

“By the Quran, rich in wisdom!” (Quran 36:2)

And to always trust Allah and have faith in him no matter what happens we know that Allah is here for us.

“Say, “Nothing will ever befall us except what Allah has destined for us. He is our Protector.” So, in Allah let the believers put their trust.” (Quran 9:51)

All the things that we have discussed are only a few of what the Quran teaches us, Quran truly changes our life significantly.
