  • كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذْكِرَةٌۭ

    Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment,
  • فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
    12
    So let whosoever will pay heed to it,
  • فِى صُحُفٍۢ مُّكَرَّمَةٍۢ
    13
    On honoured leaves
  • مَّرْفُوعَةٍۢ مُّطَهَّرَةٍۭ
    14
    Exalted, purified,
  • بِأَيْدِى سَفَرَةٍۢ
    15
    (Set down) by scribes
  • كِرَامٍۭ بَرَرَةٍۢ
    16
    Noble and righteous.
  • قُتِلَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكْفَرَهُۥ
    17
    Man is (self-)destroyed: how ungrateful!
  • مِنْ أَىِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
    18
    From what thing doth He create him?
  • مِن نُّطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
    19
    From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him,
  • ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
    20
    Then maketh the way easy for him,
