What is the best surah to read for wealth?
The holy Quran carries a cure for everything. And if you want to ask Allah to increase your Rizq and wealth then here are the surah that you should read.
1. Surah Al-Fajr.
This small yet powerful surah increases wealth and ends poverty. Read it and Allah shall increase your income.
How should you read it?
- Pray the Fajr prayer then recite surah Fajr.
- Focus on the meaning of the verses while reading them.
- Read surah Fajr in your free time.
2. Surah Waqiah.
Surah Waqiah is one of the famous powerful surahs for wealth. Many people read it to increase their income. It also removes anything that stops in the way of your wealth.
Surah al-Waqi’ah is well-known for being ‘the Surah of wealth’.
The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said, ‘Whoever recites Surah al-Waqi’ah every night, he will never be afflicted by poverty.”
It is reported that, when Abdullah ibn Masud was close to passing away, Uthman (RA) offered him a stipend for the work that he had done for the community, which Abdullah (RA) had never claimed before. Uthman (RA) suggested that, now that he was passing away, the stipend could be useful for his daughters. Abdullah (RA) simply said, ‘Do you fear poverty for my children? I have commanded them to read Surah al-Waqi’ah every night…’
3. Surah Baqarah.
Reciting the Holy Quran is something that we should do daily. And one of the most powerful surahs for wealth is surah al-Baqarah. And the most famous Aya to read is Ayat ul-Kursi.
“Allah! There is no god [worthy of worship] except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He [fully] knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills [to reveal]. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.”
The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said that: “whoever read ayat al Kursi, and the last three ayat of surah al-Baqarah, Allah will protect him and his wealth from devils.”
Reciting surah al-Baqarah daily will protect you. It will protect you from anyone who wishes you harm. And will also protect you from the evil eye that can affect one’s wealth.
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said: “Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqarah is recited.”
4. Surah Nuh for wealth.
Among the powerful surahs for wealth is surah Nuh. Allah says in the holy Quran:
﴿وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَارًا﴾
“And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.”
5. Surah Al-Imran.
In verse number 26 in surah Imran Allah says:
قُلِ اللهم مٰلِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاۤءُۖ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ ۗ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۗ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ – ٢٦ تُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَتُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ – ٢٧
“Say (Muhammad), “O Lord of power, You give power to whomever you want, and you revoke power from whomever you want. You glorify whoever you want and humiliate whomever you want. In your hands are all virtues. Truly, You are the Almighty of all things. You put night into the day and You put day into the night. And you remove the living from the dead, and you remove the dead from the living. And you give sustenance to whomever you want without calculation. ” (QS 3:26-27)
From this verse we understand that everything can give us everything that we need. And we understand that everything is in the hands of Allah. He can take or give us anything if he wants.
Therefore, surah Imran is one of the powerful surahs for wealth.
6. Surah Al Qasas.
Allah says in surah Qasas verse number 82:
وَاَصْبَحَ الَّذِيْنَ تَمَنَّوْا مَكَانَهٗ بِالْاَمْسِ يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَيْكَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقْدِرُۚ لَوْلَآ اَنْ مَّنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا ۗوَيْكَاَنَّهٗ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ࣖ – ٨٢
“And those who yesterday dreamed of their position (Karun) said, “Oh dear, may Allah have made sustenance for whom He wants among His servants and limits (for whom He wants among His servants) -His). If God had not bestowed His gift on us, surely He has buried us too. Oh dear, it is true that there will be no luck to those who deny (favor of Allah). ”
Reading this verse will make you understand that Allah is the only one who has everything. If you want anything you should turn to Allah and ask for his help.
Read this verse from surah Qasas and ask Allah to increase your wealth. And to help you overcome poverty. Allah shall make your wish come true.
7. Surah Saba.
Read verse number 29 from surah Saba and ask Allah to increase your wealth and income. And with Allah’s help, your wish shall be granted.
قُلْ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهٗ ۗوَمَآ اَنْفَقْتُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهٗ ۚوَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ – ٣٩
“Say, “Truly, my Lord gives sustenance and limits it to whomever He wishes among His servants.” And whatever you give, Allah will replace it and He is the best provider of sustenance.” (QS 34: 39)

Duas for wealth and success.
Here are some of the Duas to read to ask Allah to increase your wealth or to overcome poverty.
1.
اللَّهُمَّ إَنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlika
O Allah, I ask for Your favour.
2.
اَللَّهُمَّ اِغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي
Allahumma-ighfir li, warhamni, wa-hdini, wa ‘afini, warzuqni
“O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, guard me against harm and provide me with sustenance and salvation.”
3.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘Ilman naafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi inni limaa ‘anzalta ‘ilayya min khayrin-faqeer
O my Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me.
