  • وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ
    11
    And when the sky is torn away,
  • وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
    12
    And when hell is lighted,
  • وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
    13
    And when the Garden is brought nigh,
  • عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ
    14
    (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready.
  • فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ
    15
    Oh, but I call to witness the planets,
  • ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ
    16
    The stars which rise and set,
  • وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ
    17
    And the close of night,
  • وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
    18
    And the breath of morning
  • إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ
    19
    That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger,
  • ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍۢ
    20
    Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne,
