  • بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًۭا
    1
    By those who drag forth to destruction,
  • وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطًۭا
    2
    By the meteors rushing,
  • وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًۭا
    3
    By the lone stars floating,
  • فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقًۭا
    4
    By the angels hastening,
  • فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْرًۭا
    5
    And those who govern the event,
  • يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ
    6
    On the day when the first trump resoundeth.
  • تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ
    7
    And the second followeth it,
  • قُلُوبٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ وَاجِفَةٌ
    8
    On that day hearts beat painfully
  • أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌۭ
    9
    While eyes are downcast
  • يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ
    10
    (Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state
