  • بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلطُّورِ
    1
    By the Mount,
  • وَكِتَٰبٍۢ مَّسْطُورٍۢ
    2
    And a Scripture inscribed
  • فِى رَقٍّۢ مَّنشُورٍۢ
    3
    On fine parchment unrolled,
  • وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ
    4
    And the House frequented,
  • وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
    5
    And the roof exalted,
  • وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
    6
    And the sea kept filled,
  • إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ
    7
    Lo! the doom of thy Lord will surely come to pass;
  • مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٍۢ
    8
    There is none that can ward it off.
  • يَوْمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوْرًۭا
    9
    On the day when the heaven will heave with (awful) heaving,
  • وَتَسِيرُ ٱلْجِبَالُ سَيْرًۭا
    10
    And the mountains move away with (awful) movement,
