  • ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ سَاهُونَ
    11
    Who are careless in an abyss!
  • يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
    12
    They ask: When is the Day of Judgment?
  • يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
    13
    (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire,
  • ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
    14
    (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten.
  • إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ
    15
    Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings,
  • ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ

    Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good;
  • كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ
    17
    They used to sleep but little of the night,
  • وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
    18
    And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness,
  • وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
    19
    And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share.
  • وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
    20
    And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure.
